Here at Amor Cashmere & Tweed we use Connect - a multichannel EPOS software from Intelligent Retail.
Connect is an affordable and award winning electronic point of sale system that has the capability to link to other channels such as an eCommerce website, Amazon or eBay. This versatile eops system gives the independent retailer control from one central system - saving time and allowing retailers to make the most of their business. Remote management means that sales and stock data is communicated between the different Connect licenses using the internet and allows the retailer to get up to date reports from anywhere with a Connect license.
In Connect you can create and organise a stock tree with images and full descriptions on the products, making it easier to identify and find information about the items. The stock tree can be organised into folders for groups of products and with Connect's search facility so it is quick to locate specific products by code or name. One of the sophisticated features of this EPOS software is tagging which means that products can be highlighted and organised by types of item such as material - very useful for reporting. The stock tree is also accessible from the till front, so staff can efficiently aid customers in their product choices. All this organising ultimately makes it quicker and easier to access the information retailers need and saves time.
The settings in Connect give the retailer flexibility to turn functions on or off. Functions like adding security passwords to the till to restrict access to the back office admin area and functions that control what text you have displayed on your receipts and documentation. Along with this the back office admin area holds the customer database and gives retailers the ability to extract this information for email marketing and you can even tag customers records for additional filtering - such as by the types of products they purchase.
