Scottish Clan Scarf : Irvine Ancient
- Available to order
This is a quality scarf made from 100% wool. Also known as 'Irving', two separate branches of the clan flourished in both the lowlands and north of Scotland for centuries. In Aberdeenshire, the Irvines of Drum trace a descent from the Irvings of Bonshaw, in Dumfriesshire, and it was in the south-west of Scotland during the thirteenth century Wars of Independence with England that the clan provided valuable support for both William Wallace and Robert the Bruce.
The brief history of the clan is written on label along with the motto and crest.
