Scottish Clan Scarf : MacEwan Modern
- Available to order
This is a quality scarf made from 100% wool. Of Irish origin, the clan became established in about 1200 on the shores of Loch Fyne, in Argyll, and the name stems from a Celtic term signifying 'sprung from a yew tree'. Known as the MacEwans of the Otter, they once held considerable influence, but gradually lost the bulks of their lands and came under the protection of the powerful Maclachlan Clan.
The brief history of the clan is written on label along with the motto and crest.
