Scottish Clan Scarf : Rose Hunting Modern
- Available to order
This material is 100% wool. The name derives from what was the lordship of Ros, in the Normandy region of France. Settled in Scotland by the late thirteenth century in Kilravock, in the area of Nairn, the clan proved staunch supporters of Robert the Bruce, with Sir William Rose capturing a strategically important castle for the great warrior king in 1306.
The brief history of the clan is written on label along with the motto and crest.
